Le Héron campsite welcomes you every day to its vast wooded grounds from 5 April to 27 September. As soon as you arrive (and afterwards whenever you like), we’ll meet you at reception from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in high season, and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in low season.
We’ll be delighted to provide you with all the information you need, as well as valuable advice on how to make your stay in sunny Oléron the best it can be.
Stay connected with wifi
The location of our campsite on the island of Oleron is particularly conducive to disconnecting. But we know that a good wifi connection is essential when you’re on vacation, if only to share your wonderful photos with friends and family.
That’s why we invite you to ask at reception about a wifi offer adapted to your needs and desires, by the hour, by the day or by the week.
Take advantage of our fully-equipped laundromat for a carefree vacation
To help you make the most of your stay at our campsite on the Ile d’Oléron, you’ll find a laundry area on site. The latter has a washing machine and an ironing board and iron.
Count €6 per wash (coins required for the coin-operated machine).
Travel with your pet
At Le Héron campsite, your four-legged friends are always welcome! We understand that your furry friends are an integral part of your life, which is why we gladly accept dogs in our establishment.
The only conditions are that you have an up-to-date vaccination certificate and that you keep your pet on a leash in the campsite aisles. Please note that category 1 and 2 dogs, as well as those weighing more than 10 kg, are not allowed on our premises.
By following these few rules, your four-legged friends can also enjoy the peace and quiet of our natural environment. With our comfortable accommodations and walkable outdoor spaces, your dog can enjoy a vacation just as relaxing as yours.
Allow €3.90 a day for your four-legged friend (one animal per accommodation).
Wake up to a sweet treat with our bread and pastry depot
For a gentle wake-up call, there’s nothing like a delicious breakfast of freshly baked bread and pastries! At Le Héron campsite, we make life easier for you by providing a bread and pastries depot for you to pick up at the snack bar located just 30 meters from the campsite. No need to make long journeys, you can enjoy these delicacies just a few steps from your accommodation, to get your day off to a good start.
Simplify your vacation at the grocery store with drinks and local produce
Need a little gourmet break during your stay at Le Héron campsite? We’ve got it all covered! Our grocery store, located at the campsite reception, is there to serve you. Open at the times of day that are most convenient for your refreshment or tasting needs, it offers a tasty selection of ice creams, hot and cold drinks, as well as local and essential products. Make yourself comfortable in our grocery corner with seating and enjoy a moment of relaxation between two activities.
In July and August, you can also take advantage of our themed evening meals (seafood platter, mussels églade, etc.)!

At Le Héron campsite on the Ile d’Oléron, your comfort is of the utmost importance to us, and we’re determined to make your stay as pleasant as possible. That’s why we offer several additional rental services to meet all your needs.

Our Le Héron campsite is ideally located on the Ile d’Oléron, allowing you to comfortably combine practical services, discovery and idleness in all circumstances during your stay.
You’ll find all kinds of shops and services just 1.5 km away, as well as a supermarket 2.6 km away for more specific needs.
The Dolus-d’Oléron tourist office is less than 10 minutes‘ walk away, making it easy to discover the region and its attractions.
